I respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how it is protected. It applies to rebecawielerchen.ca. If you become a client, the information in your client file is also covered by the Desjardins privacy policy.
Who is responsible

What I collect
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number, the topics you want to discuss, your message and how you heard about me.
- Newsletter: your email address and your consent, only if you tick the newsletter box.
- Online booking: when you book a meeting, the booking page (Microsoft Bookings) collects your name, contact details and the time you choose.
- Technical information: like most websites, the hosting server keeps basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site running.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
Why I collect it
- To answer your questions and arrange a meeting.
- To send you the newsletter, if you asked for it.
- To keep the website secure and working.
I only use your information for these purposes, unless you agree to another use or the law requires it.
Your consent
By sending the contact form and ticking the consent box, you agree to the uses above. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can simply contact me.
Who sees your information
Your information is never sold. It is seen only by me and my assistant, and by the service providers that run this website and email (web hosting and email by Hostinger, booking by Microsoft). If you become a client, it may be shared, with your consent, with Desjardins and with the specialists involved in your plan. I may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Some of these service providers may store or process information outside Canada.
How long I keep it
I keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or longer if the law requires it. Then it is securely deleted.
Security
I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Email and web forms are not completely secure, so please do not send your Social Insurance Number, account numbers or health information through this website. For confidential matters, please call me.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Contact me using the details above.
